we're ice cream
soft/smooth/girls
you crave
and we try to be brave
try to let you lick us up
without melting
some of us were bitter
from the start
but all in all
our sweetness turns
to salt
when your craving
for our flavor
subsides.




but all in all
i've got freezer burn
from waiting,
untouched,
in the ice-box.




so, all in all
i want you to know
there's a sale
in the frozen food aisle..
and no matter how much
it will always hurt
to be bought/
i'll be bought.
